In response to: The Ten Commandments for client meetings/events (again these have happened!)

you have got to be kidding? People do the stuff you mentioned?

I am in recruitment and in all the years I have seen some drunkenness, and possibly molesting, but never the 'faux pas' you mention.

A lot of the stuff mentioned is down to persoanl hygiene, good manners and being properly raised by non-absentee parents, surely?

In response to: Is Simon Cowell right?

The Voice UK is without a doubt the best talent show on British TV. I felt repulsive switching over to ITV to jeer at the untalented British public. This is a dated and horrible method of entertainment and if I were Simon Cowell I would be ashamed. The X-Factor isn't much better either. Its high time Simon Cowell were challenged as he began to feel comfortable and The Voice managed to promptly uproot him. Highly amusing as he seeks a companion in Tulisa (fellow X-Factor, re-signed judge).

In response to: BLT & LBS Summer Consulting Projects

Some people resisting a certain program or initiative was
tolerable to me, but sabotage was not. Usually, as in ancient Roman
times, the 20 percent went along with the majority in the end, just as
the Emperor would vote for someone he disfavored to please the crowd.
