Don't see what the issue is really. Sir Stuart Rose has a gold-plated reputation and should be given the benefit of the doubt even if executive power is more heavily weighted in his favour for now.It shows he has M&S foremost in his thoughts.
Of more concern are the various "portfolio" NEDs who have positions on various corporate boards yet physically cannot devote the time or energy to serious boardroom issues as they and their abilities are spread too thinly around the boards on which they sit. Permalink
