I've read a number of interesting articles in the past couple of weeks looking at the power that bloggers are wielding on the political landscape in the US. Undoubtedly the race to succeed George Dubya Bush will inevitably be partly won ( and lost ) online, and in the next few years we’re likely to see the emergence of a US presidential candidate from the blogosphere.
On a much smaller scale of course, 2007 has seen the launch of our own BLT blog and, after a slow start, there’s some interesting conversations happening – on everything from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, to Video CVs. Never one to let an opportunity pass however, I thought I’d use my final post of 2008 for own bit of electioneering: Top-Consultant is running its annual recruitment channel survey, so if you feel inclined to nominate BLT for question 11, it will certainly not be a vote wasted! ( it only takes a couple of minutes )
Thanks to everyone who’s read and participated on the blog this year - I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and have a successful 2008.
