I certainly enjoy my job and I enjoy all networking opportunities but rarely am I invited to an event that correlates so closely with one of my favourite personal pursuits. So what could be better than the chance for some leisurely shopping with a glass of champagne in one hand and a very canapé in the other? Not only is an upmarket fashion store a great place to find those special clothes and accessories that perfectly combine stylish and practical, but the evening included tailored advice from a fashion industry expert who delivered those vital top tips on everything from the season’s ‘must haves’ to the essential shape and colour ‘do’s and don’ts’.

So, with the added incentive of a 10% discount did I do as I was told and throw away my ‘obviously cheap and very last year’ gypsy hipster belt in favour of the very now cinch-waist black patent version...? You will have to wait and see!
